Based on the ports corporation board of directors decision to cancel the service charges of the vessel’s agents at Aqaba port no: (24) Year 1998. The board of shipping agents has recommended executing this tariff as from 01/08/2007.
Article 1 :
These instructions called (Instructions of service charges to vessel agents at Aqaba port to year 2007).
Article 2 :
- With due consideration to the provision of article (7) of these instructions, The Vessel Agents/Shipping Line Agent shall charge on all cargoes discharged or loaded at Aqaba port as follows :

Article 3 :
The Vessel Agents/Shipping Line Agent shall charge the following additional charges :
- JD 5.00 as delivery order issuance fee per each delivery order.
- Marine Agent Service charge JD (20) for FCL containers incoming to Aqaba , and JD (30) for (40’ Feet) container incoming only.
- Marine Agent Service charge for issuing Bill of Lading for export JD (10) for each Bill of Lading.
Article 4 :
Joint container LCL: the Shipping Agent will collect agency fees as per weight/consignment measurement which calculates more as per schedule.
- Minimum charge for (1) Ton or (1) M3, JD (10).
- After that to add JD (3) for each Ton/ M3 or part of Ton.
- Delivery order fees JD (3) for each delivery LCL.
Article 5 :
a-
The Shipping Agent will collect the sum of JD (40) upon the request of the receivers or his representative to amend the manifest or Bill of Lading .
b-
(between Shipping Agents members) the Shipping Agents will collect the sum of 25 JD upon the request of the recever or his representative to amend the manifist or Bill of Lading after the arrival or departure of the vessel.
Article 6 :
a-
(Between Shipping Agents the Members) the vessel's Agent;s or supplier agent will collect the following fees from the Shipping Line Agent in case of loading or discharging container belonging to the Shipping Line which they represent or in case of Shipping Consortium :

b- the Agent of the feeder vessel has the right to collect the sum of 5 JD for eash imported 20 Ft or 40 FT container as agency fees from the Container Shipping Line Agent.
Article 7 :
The charges referred to in article (2) of these instructions shall be reduced as follows if the minimum charges are JD 15.00 as per each consignment :
*(50%) of service charge stated in articles (2&3) of these instructions for goods imported directly, or indirectly ,by the government and Armed forces ,except what is stated in clause (9) from provision (a) of article (2) of these instructions.
Article 8 :
The Board of Directors of Shipping Agent Association will review these instructions if needed.

| GENERAL TERMS | ||||
| 1. |
All Members of the association are bound to apply agency fees and charges for their services rendered to the Owners, Operators or other Principals as prescribed by the scale. The fees indicated in the attached scale and is to be considered as the minimum rate level adopted by all Agents at Aqaba Port and these charged fees cannot be less than those indicated in this tariff.

The Agency fees in this scale is applicable on services rendered in connection with vessel's arrival at, stay in and clearance in Aqaba port. All the expenses incurred by the agent owing to the vessel, her cargo and passengers are not included in the agency fess for ship’s account such as transportation by car, boat, communications, taxes, dues, fees, fiscal stamps, supervision & tally or any documentation related to vessel, cargo and crew.

| 3. |
When a vessel performs both loading and discharge of cargo in the same port, the agency fee for each operation will apply, in accordance with the appropriate paragraph of the Tariff according to the kind and quantity of cargo.

| 4. |
Any service not included in the present tariff is subject to agreement between the parties.

| 5. |
Additional agency fees $100 per day to be added to this scale in case vessel stay more than 2 weeks.
|

Fees Association :
- Entry fees of JD 500 to be paid once upon submitting the application for the association membership.
- Annual membership fees, to be paid by every member before the end of the year, these fees comprising, of:
- Minimum annual fee of JD (250) to be paid by every member in case total fees specified in following, items (2&3) did not exceed this figure, member will pay the balance to cover the minimum annual fees.
- A fee of JD (10) on every, vessel call Aqaba for loading, and/or discharging, of General Cargo, Timber, Paper, Bagged Cargo, Steel Bulk Grains , Bulk liquids , Bulk Sulphur , Clinker, Cement , Bulk Fertilizers , Potash , Phosphates and for disembarking and/or embarking of passengers.
- A fee per ton of cargo discharged and/or loaded under member's agency, as per the following:
- General Cargo: (15) Fills/Ton.
- Phosphate, Potash, Fertilizers.
- Cement, Clinker, Bulk- Sulphur: (0.5) Fills/Ton.
- Bulk Veg. Oil, Bulk Non-Hazardous Fertilizers, and Bulk Grain: (1) Fills/Ton.
- Bulk Crude Oil , Fuel and/or similar, Hazardous cargo , Bagged cargo, Steel , Timer and Paper: (2) Fills/Ton.
- Full containers in and out.
- 20 ft full containers:250 fls per containers
- 40 ft containers:350 fls per containers
